Hey there…I’m Joanne. :)

I have pieces of me all over the internet, but I wanted to have one spot to tie them all together so I created JoanneGreco.com in 2008 (Greco has a short ‘e’, like in ‘egg’).

In January of 2008, I invested time and money into a niche website coaching program with Court Tuttle. I had been reading his internet marketing blog for a while and when he created a coaching service, I didn’t hesitate to sign up. He worked one on one with me through a series of telephone conversations and emails over the course of a few months. My investment was not cheap, but I made it back before the year was out.

Since then, Court and his partner Mark Butler have streamlined their coaching program into a series of videos called The Keyword Crash Course Video Series, a ten lesson, six hour course on how to start a group of profitable niche websites from scratch – everything from choosing the topics to setting up the sites to getting people to actually visit what you’ve created. They also hold webinars to share new information and answer questions.

I’ve created many sites over the last several years. Some have been around for a while, others are just starting out. Some generate a small income, others don’t. I use Wordpress (self hosted) for all my blogs, phpBB for my forum and Host Gator for my hosting.

(I’ll update this list as I add the other ones)

Forever Parents is for adoptive and waiting parents. I started it in 2002 as a forum on the msn boards. I later moved it to ezboard and branched out to a blog on blogspot. In early 2008, I moved to a self hosted format for both the blog and the forum.

Since 2004, I have unschooled my children. Unschooling (a form of homeschooling) does not use a fixed curriculum. Children have the freedom to use the world around them to learn. Unschooling isn’t a method, as much as it is a way of looking at children, and at life. It is based on trust that parents and children will find the paths that work best for them – without depending on educational institutions to tell them what to do.
An Unschooling Life

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been interested in getting the most for my money, reusing items and bargain shopping. I decided to start a blog in 2007 that focused on those topics, and also ways to live a more simpler and mindful life, focusing on what we have and not what we don’t.
Simply-Saving

I’ve wanted to start a network of sites on a particular topic. After giving it quite a lot of thought, I recently started four blogs, one on each season, geared towards family activities. I’ll post the last one when it’s done.
Summer And Kids
Winter And Kids
Autumn And Kids

This is a blog and a forum I run with my husband Billy. Be warned! I am a disgusted Democrat (I recently left the Democratic party and became a Libertarian and my husband is a registered Independent) and we’re vocal about our feelings, especially about the incoming administration.
Left And Right Politics
We Did Not Vote For Obama

These are my husbands investing sites.
The first one is a work in progress and is geared towards the beginner investor. He posts his advice on how to get started as well sharing sites and programs that he uses.
Beginner Investing
The next one is more of a day to day stock market site where he shares up to date investing news and the current state of the market and certain stocks.
